- A pitch is a lofted shot that flies further than it rolls
- Use a lofted club (Usually a lob wedge, sand wedge, or pitching wedge)
- Open stance with feet closer together
- Ball positioned in center of stance
- Body turn is determined by the size of the swing
- The backswing might be waist high, shoulder high, or regular full-swing depending on length of shot
- Legs and body turn slightly through the shot
- Practice using waist high, shoulder high and full-swing to become familiar with the various length shots they will produce
